If you are like the rest of us, then you’d love to have more followers on Twitter for any of the following reasons: You want people to click on the links that you share in your tweets. You want your tweets re-tweeted by as many people as possible. You want to drive boatloads of traffic to your site.
But there’s only one problem. You don’t know how to do this. You’ve tried different strategies that were supposed to get you somewhere but they all fell short.
Meanwhile, you come across some Twitter accounts that have thousands and thousands of followers and you can’t figure out why they attract so many people.
You’re not a celebrity. You don’t have thousands and thousands of followers. You share a tweet and your thankful if just 50 people click on your link. Ugghhh, how frustrating!
But today I have good news because I’m here to tell you, NO MORE! No more un-answered questions about how to make all of your Twitter dreams come true. No more frustration. No more hopelessness. No more dreams going unfulfilled.
Why?
Because in the next series of posts, I’m going to share with you how I got thousands of people to follow me on Twitter. I did it without paying a penny to a service that promised to get me followers, and I did it before my website went live on the Internet.
Most bloggers release a website and only see just a trickle of traffic. They blog for a few months, things don’t get much better, they give it a second shot, and then they give up.
I just released this blog less than a month ago and by the grace of God, hundreds of people are visiting this site, 10’s of people are re-tweeting my posts. Ultimately, I give God the glory for the work that He is doing here at NAOTG!
So, what’s in it for you?
I’m going to show you how you can get thousands of followers. I’m going to show you how to get people to re-tweet you, click your links, and visit your site.
And I’m going to show you all of this for FREE!
Why am I going to give you all of this wonderful information for free?
Because I’m a nice guy :-).
That’s not the only reason. Mathew 10:8 says, “Freely you have received, freely give.”
I believe that it was God who led me and showed me all of these strategies that I’m about to share with you. He showed it to me for free and I want to do the same for you too.
Why am I doing this?
I don’t want to make money. I don’t want to have a business. I don’t want to have you think of me any more than what I am, and what I am is just a lowly servant of the most high God.
I’m doing this for 1 reason only: I want to see people get saved.

Twitter ain’t easy
Twitter is not an easy social network to learn. It took me 3 months of dedicated studying and experimenting to just BEGIN to understand how Twitter works.
It took me many more months of reading and studying before I began to experience success with Twitter.I’ve spent countless hours reading the very best articles about how to use Twitter from sites like Hubspot, Problogger, and Quick Sprout.
Will the strategies in this guide actually work?
Using the strategies that I’m about to show you, by the grace of God I’ve been able to increase my follower count to be in the thousands. If you take a look at the sidebar to your upper right, you’ll see my latest follower count which is updated monthly.
I give credit to God for leading me to acquire this information so that you and I together can help spread the Gospel.
Furthermore, if you take a look at any of the blog posts, you’ll see how many times these blog posts get re-tweeted. On average, most of the posts on this blog get 10’s and 10’s of tweets a week and some of them have been re-tweeted in the triple digits.
I showed a friend of mine these strategies and he now has more followers than me
My friend Rigo and I both started Twitter at the same time. We both started with just a few followers. I was obsessed with social media at the time and so I began studying how to gain a considerable following.
After a few months, I was able to get my Twitter following to be around 2500. My friend Rigo asked me once after church how I got all of my followers. I shared with him my secret. And the rest is history 🙂
He’s been able to spend time implementing the same strategy that many others on Twitter are using to get followers for free. Social Media now a days is an important tool to Evangelize. One of the most difficult things to do is to built your network up. You must have a strong number of friends and followers to be able to get the word out. You writing a free method of gaining follower on Twitter for free is awesome since many people have to pay to gain more followers. The bigger your network, the more that we could spread the good news about the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the rest of the world. How long did it take you to get to 18,000 followers?
That is an excellent question Jason! I’ll tell you how long it took me to get to 18,000 followers but you have to keep in mind that the first 6 months of me joining twitter were dedicated to me figuring out how everything works.
Basically, it took me 18 months for me to get to 18,000 followers. The system that I’m going to be sharing with you can be accelerated if you want faster results. For me, I’m a busy guy and I can only dedicate no more than 20 min. a day for twitter.
However, my friend that I was referring to in this blog post who got more followers then I was able to dedicate more time in his day and so he has been wildly successful at getting more Twitter followers. he was able to get more followers than me in less amount of time. But he had to put in more time every day.
Makes sense.
Are you sure your tweet counter is working? I have tweeted several times, refreshing the page after each tweet, and I have never seen the counter increment. Is it possible it only increments once for each unique tweeter?
Hi John,
Yes I’m pretty sure that my tweet counter is working. If it’s not updating on your computer it could be your browsers cache that’s getting in the way. Either way, if you notice I took away the 500 tweets stipulation because I have an even better idea for getting this information out there. Lord willing, the whole series about how to get more Twitter followers will be available in about 1 months time.
