  1. Hey Peter –

Great production value with your video – very impressive! I definitely like the change of pace from your normal post. Fun to see you live and and in color!

As far as the answer to your question of does the Bible mentions dinosaurs – the answer is no. Because they died off millions of years before anyone writing the Bible was around.

Wait – let me add a caveat…. I guess it is possible they dug up fossils and determined they had found something VERY unusual from things they were familiar with!

These verses look like a case of embellished story telling, fairy tales, etc.

Hi R, thanks for your kind words, brother. It’s always wonderful to hear from you. I do miss our correspondence through emails 😊.

One of the emails that I got had to do with why people are so interested in dinosaurs and the Bible. I think one of the reasons is because if the Bible addresses dinosaurs, then it has implications on who is right about how old the earth is.

As you know, some Christian scientists say that the earth is 6,000 years old. Secular scientists say that the Earth is about 4.5 billion years old. So if the Bible does mention dinosaurs, then it could indicate how old the earth is.

But whether the animals that I mentioned in the video are actually dinosaurs is pure speculation on my part 😀.

  2. I feel that the general population of the world would be naive to think that just because the bible doesn’t explicitly say the word “Dinosaurs” that there is no mention of them.

In fact behemoth and Leviathan would very much describe what we call dinosaurs today, thus the word Dinosaur is, I believe a word conjured up from Generations well after Adam. In the book of Genisus at speaks about Adam giving names to all the animals it makes no mention of the word Dinosaur(s)

As for the earth being millions of years old that’s another discussion for another day!

That’s a very interesting point that you bring up, Neil. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It will be interesting to see what the rest of the Not Ashamed of the Gospel community thinks.
