Just around the corner is an amazing evangelistic event that you’ll want to be a part of.  The event is called Harvest America and today, you’ll learn all about what makes this evangelistic event so awesome and so unique.

It’s led by Pastor Greg Laurie, featured speaker of the Harvest Crusades.

What are Harvest Crusades?

“Since 1990, Harvest Crusades has put on large-scale evangelistic outreaches around the United States and in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. More than 4,405,000 people have attended a Harvest Crusades event in person, and more than 370,900 people have registered decisions of faith in Jesus Christ.

Harvest Crusades events are designed to be opportunities for Christians to invite family members, coworkers, friends, and acquaintances to hear the life-changing message of the gospel in an environment that is entertaining, yet nonthreatening.

The cornerstone of each event is the presentation of the gospel by Pastor Greg Laurie. Biblically-sound and culturally relevant, Pastor Greg brings a clear gospel message, providing an opportunity for people to make a decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.” (source: Harvest Crusades)

More on Mass Evangelism

There have been thousands of mass evangelism events throughout the centuries.  When it comes to large-scale evangelism, you may think of names like Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, and Luis Palau.

All of these wonderful men have put on fantastic evangelistic events that have reached thousands with the gospel.  Most of the time the events take place in stadiums or arenas; places where thousands of people can come together.

We give glory to God for what He has done though these ministries as well as for the workers and volunteers that dedicate time and money into these evangelistic events.

What Makes Harvest America Such a Unique Event?

About Us

Using tech to proclaim the gospel message is wise

The Harvest America team is breaking new ground by reaching a staggering number of people with the gospel.

Never before has there been such a focus on leveraging the power of technology and multimedia during a mass evangelism event in order to have one unified message, reaching thousands of people all over the United States simultaneously.

Not only is the focus on using technology and multimedia unique, but so is their outreach style.

Instead of being limited to one physical location (the Angels Stadium in Anaheim, California) they’ve been encouraging churches, ministries, and individuals to host or rent venues where the live event can be streamed on a big screen, TV, or even a tablet.

As a result, there have been more than 400 locations throughout the nation who have indicated that they’ll be streaming the Harvest America event.

How Can You Be a Part of this Historic Event?

I usually end my blog posts with a question or two so that I can get your feedback in the comments.  I’d still love to hear from you and at the same time, I’d like to ask you to please do two things:

  1. Pray and share this evite or this one with a non-Christian/back-slidden friend or family member.
  2. Share this blog post with your Christian friends and family so that they can learn about Harvest America.  The more brothers and sisters that know about the event, the more that they’ll invite their friends to watch the gospel being presented on Aug. 26th.

Staggering Statistic:  The Harvest Team share that the overwhelming majority of people who come to a Harvest event and make a decision for Christ were invited by a fellow believer.

Woot, woot! Go #TeamJesus!

Harvest America is an AWESOME event and you won’t want to miss it!   (tweet this to be awesome :-))

  1. This promises to be an awesome event. I believe more then 800 churches are involved in this now. The potential to reach the lost is going to be amazing!!
Greg Laurie is a fantastic speaker with a passion to reach the lost. If you ever watch his pod casts, he does an altar call at the end of each service.

    Thanks for promoting this event!
    Blessings to you
    Greg

    1. Thanks Greg, I’m excited about this event too 🙂 By the way, which state do you live in? I was just wondering because I know that if you lived in southern California then you’d probably go to this event. It would be so cool if we could meet up 🙂

      1. I am in Wisconsin! Yes it would be awesome to meet up!! We are a little far apart though. 🙂

I was at a another awesome event last night…the Vertical church tour with James McDonald. It was awesome!!! Church the way church is supposed to be. Preach the Gospel….all of the Gospel! I love James McDonald and Greg Laurie!

  2. You know, when you get down to it, most of the problems we gripe about in today’s culture would be solved by a nationwide revival. This is especially true in a democracy like ours.

I’m looking forward to this event. Greg Laurie’s one of the best Bible teachers in the country.

    1. Amen to that Kurt, I totally agree with you 🙂 I agree also about Pastor Greg, he had a significant role in my life after I rededicated my life to Christ. I used to listen to him every day on the radio and it was through his ministry that I got discipled.
