Funny Video About Spiritual Warfare Will Make You Think About Your Christian Walk

Peter Guirguis Online Evangelism 101 10 Comments

I came across this video the other day and I knew that I had to share it with you.  While this video is pretty funny, I hope that it does make you think twice about your spiritual walk.

If you’re encountering any kind of spiritual warfare, its because you’re making a difference for the Kingdom and Satan hates that, especially if you’re into evangelism.  He’s been coming after you but hey, there’s good news:

[sws_blockquote_endquote align=”” cite=”1 John 4:4″ quotestyle=”style01″] You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. [/sws_blockquote_endquote]

Did you enjoy the video? Which one of the spiritual attacks that Satan mentions do you think presents the biggest challenge to the church today?

  1. Without a doubt, I believe that the greatest problem we face is division in the Church. And this is a problem that will only be solved as Christians get out of their battle garb and onto their knees.

The problem first appeared in the Corinthian church, or at least, that is where Paul first addressed it. Imagine, in the early Church there were no denominations, the only doctrine available was the writing of Paul and a few others, and yet, even these earliest of believers found something to divide about.

Is division sin? Yes, I believe it is, and I believe it must grieve our Savior’s heart tremendously! What is the source of division? Satan, in the video hinted at it, but I believe that the cause is pride, the very same sin that got Adam and Eve into trouble.

I am as guilty as anyone, but Christian, if we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, we will find that the Church IS united. After all, we all serve the same heavenly Master, and our Master is not divided.

Perhaps this needs to be a serious cause for prayer, for all of us.

    1. Amen to that John! I totally do agree with you that the biggest problem in the church today is division. And I know that the enemy knows that if we were more united then we would be able to make a greater impact in this world for the Kingdom.

It’s amazing how many of the sins out there have their root causes in pride. Most of the time we don’t realize it because we’re blinded by our sin. But your comment was very refreshing and is very true John. That’s why I love visiting your blog http://mylordisjesus.wordpress.com/

      1. I’ve been thinking a lot about Church division since our conversation.

Last Sunday,we read through part of John 17 in our church service. Since I hadn’t read all of Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer for awhile I read the whole chapter when I got home, and received a real surprise. Jesus prayed specifically for Church unity in His prayer and gave as the reason, “that the world may know that You have sent Me”.

So, unity is to be a witness to the world, and yet, divisions began nearly as soon as the Church was established. I wondered what that was and was prompted to write the following:

        http://mylordisjesus.wordpress.com/2012/08/07/how-is-it-that-there-are-divisions-in-the-church-the-answer-is-simple/

I now am convinced that this is an issue that we cannot ignore.

        God bless,
        John

              1. I just found what could become an incredible web site:
One Big Church dot com – It is a great concept, and if God is blessing it, they will have quite an impact on the Church in days to come. I hope you will check it out. This is something I intend to promote.

God bless, and have a great weekend!
                John

              2. Thanks John for that link, I visited that website and it does look very promising. It’s still 145 days away from launch, I hope they’ll be right on target.

  2. Cute only I don’t think no one is going to be able to talk to the devil… except God, but it is true Satan invited his self to everything we do in life.
