If you read the title of this blog post, then you’re probably wondering how can anyone preach the gospel to someone without speaking words?

Well there is a way and I have to admit, this is the first time that I’ve tried it and I’m quite pleased with the results.

Let me ask you a question: which room do you spend most of your time in?  Is it your office?  Your living room?  Or maybe it’s your kitchen?

While you’re thinking of that room, what is on it’s walls?  Are the walls bare or are there some kind of pictures or wall decor?

For me, the room that I spend most of my time in is my office at the church where I work.

I spend a little over 50 hours a week between these four walls and unfortunately, my office is a sight for sore eyes.

Here, check it out yourself:

Peter's Office

I entertain all sorts of people in my office and it would be nice if I could make my office look better without spending too much time or money.

So what if there was a way for me to show people something related to the gospel by adding something to my wall?

And what if you could do the same thing to any room to show people a glimpse of who you are or what you stand for?

Introducing Wall Decals From Wise Decor

Chances are pretty good that you’ve been in a room before that had beautiful wall decals that either formed a word or a quote.  Check out some examples pictures.

Reasons Why To Use Wall Letting to Transform Your Room

When I first came across this idea from the wonderful folks over at Wise Decor, I thought it was a brilliant idea!

So here are 3 reasons why you should get wall decals for transforming that room that you spend so much time in:

1.  Wall lettering makes any room look fantastic!  You can see the before and after pictures of my office below.  I was blown away with the results.

2.  It’s a great way to show people what’s important to you.

3.  It’s such a great conversation piece that causes people to make a comment about what you put on your wall.

Every single person that has walked in my office since I put up my wall decal has made a positive comment about how “cool” or “awesome” it looks.

4.  It’s cost-effective.  I was surprised to see that wall decals don’t cost as much I thought they should.

Or maybe that’s just because Wise Decor has been in business for a long time and their prices are very reasonable.

Before and After Pictures of My Office

So if you remember, this is what my office looked like before I put the wall decals from Wise Decor:

  1. When receiving this e-mail I was expecting hand gestures and pointing up to the sky. This is such a great idea! Especially being a college student and wanting to decorate my apartment without killing my wallet. It also shows my roommates and their friends that I am not ashamed of being a Christian and will openly talk about my Lord.

I plan to get one of my favorite verses from my favorite book; Romans. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” -Romans 15:13

  2. Since we are adopting, this would be the verse I would post on our wall:

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. John 14:18

  3. Creative Idea Peter. I can imagine all sorts of conversation starters after a while. Are they easy to swap out every few months every now and then? Like a billboard, I would imagine that office visitors would eventually stop seeing it, like i no longer see the google ads in my gmail box

    1. Lol, great analogy Chris with the Google ads 🙂

Yes they are interchangeable. I asked the owner about how to remove them and the box that they came in actually gives you the removal instructions. Apparently, you just go to the corner of every letter and peel it off with this tool that comes with the box.

They say that it shouldn’t leave any residue behind unless it’s been on your wall for a few years. And if that’s the case, the residue that’s behind can be removed using Goo Be Gone.

  4. My favorite scripture that I live my life my and would put on any wall is found in Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
