Sorry No Blog Post This Week I Had a Baby Instead

Well, technically I didn’t have a baby but my amazing wife sure did.

This week, I’ve been in the hospital as my wife was scheduled for a c-section delivery on Monday, March 17.

So to you, my Not Ashamed of the Gospel family, I’d like to introduce you to my new son.

His name is Andrew Peter Guirguis, born 7 lbs 11 oz at 8:26 am.

By the way, the reason I named my son Andrew is because the Andrew in the Bible brought people to Jesus.

I hope that my Andrew will grow up to follow in the footsteps of the Andrew in the Bible, so he too will become an evangelist.

God willing, he’ll be a much better evangelist than his dad 🙂

See you next week.

  1. Glad you cleared that up. I’ve always known that you can do just about anything … except have a baby.

So excited to see your post today! Tina and Andrew look wonderful. Btw, this world needs more Andrews (to bring others to Jesus). Congrats and enjoy! Love and kisses to Tina and both kiddos.

    1. Ha ha Collie, your comment made me laugh so much!

During certain parts of the pregnancy I found myself thanking God for making me a man instead of a woman 🙂 I don’t know how the ladies do it, but props to them for carrying the baby in their wombs, putting up with all of the side-effects, and then the labor too.

Thanks Collie too for your Google Plus love, you’ve always been so incredible supporting Collie and I appreciate you bro. Wish you and your family ALL the best!

  2. Mega congrats to an amazing baby boy, an adorable Mom and a so so humble Dad (you’re a pretty darn good Evangelist)! Now begins the most fabulous part of your life — many many blessings!

  3. Congratulations Peter and Tina! 🙂 God bless all 3 of you. If Andrew takes after Dad…it will be all good. 🙂
    Blessings bro.

  4. Congrats Peter! Saw the news on Facebook. Don’t be afraid to say “Sleep is for wimps”. It’ll help you in the next few years. No matter how amazing it is right now…parenthood gets better and better.

    1. Amen Trevor, you are so right brother! Thanks for the well wishes.

I hope all is well with your church. I love that you started sending out your email newsletters again. I’ve been enjoying receiving them.
