Are you someone who takes your Christian walk seriously? Are you a Christian that wants to please your heavenly Father?
If you answered “yes” to either of those questions, then you’ll want to make evangelism a part of your daily Christian life.
I know that you might be scared when it comes to sharing your faith like I was. I know that you might not know how to actually share Jesus with someone.
That’s why this blog is dedicated to show you the easiest and best ways to bring people to Christ.
Using The 10 Commandments When Evangelizing is the Bomb
Recently, I’ve been writing about the importance of using The Ten Commandments (The Law or God’s Law) when sharing Christ with others.
Personally, I didn’t use The Ten Commandments in my evangelism efforts when I started two years ago. Looking back at that time, I can say without shame that my efforts didn’t bear much fruit.
It was a great learning experience for me.
For the foundational principle behind using God’s Law in evangelism, watch this great 1 minute video.
Top 5 Reasons to Use the 10 Commandments When Witnessing
1. The Bible says in Psalm 19:7, “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul.” That word “converting” according to Strong’s concordance means to “return or turn back.”
So if you want a soul to return back to God, then you should use the Law because it is perfect for conversions.
2. It is God’s law that brings about the knowledge of sin. Without God’s law written on our hearts, we wouldn’t know we are sinners.
3. God has given you an ally when witnessing to others and that is the conscience.
4. Warning others about the judgement to come is one of the best motivators to accept Christ. Jesus did it Himself.
5. There’s an easy way to take someone through the commandments and to ask them questions that will lead them to the knowledge that they are a sinner. You can watch this video.
