- I used to be an atheist who was fed up with religion and believed that Christianity was filled with hypocrites the size of hippos. You can read my story by clicking here.
- I'm powerless in front of
- The shortcut to my heart is through a giant piece of chocolate cake – the one with chocolate chips or walnuts. (yes, I drooled a little when I typed that last sentence)

How I Got Started
In 2011, I wanted to start a blog. My original idea was to start a blog about my favorite verses in the Bible and what they mean to me.
I pitched the idea to my good friend, John, and he told me that I was bonkers.
Disappointed, I went back to the drawing board.
At the time, there was a ministry that was going through a re-branding in their name.
They did a terrible job with the name change and it resulted in them going through a PR nightmare.
As a result, Christians were accusing this ministry of changing their brand identity because they were ashamed of the gospel.
When I heard that, I was intrigued. I thought to myself, "Is notasahmedofthegospel.com available on the Internet?"
Lo and behold, it was!
I snatched up that domain right away, and I prayed to God to show me what to write about. I felt that my calling was to blog about my passion, which is sharing Jesus with others in a fun and awesome way.
The rest, as they say, is history 🙂
Here's What Others Are Saying
Being a person of faith, I don't believe that I can take credit for the hundreds of visitors that come to this blog every day.
I give 200% of the credit to God. Why 200% and not just 100%?
Because God is in the business of blowing your mind away. He does exceedingly abundantly about all that we could think or imagine. So to give Him just 100% of the credit would be an understatement.
I have never been a non-believer of God or any greater Being, but often find myself questioning His existence and my own. There are so many stories that atheists bring up, many different ideas that make you think that God doesn't exist.
I can't say I ever believed them even as a kid, but I've always wanted reassurance and have been endlessly looking for that underlying proof that He's real.
Today, Peter, you have put my mind to rest and have opened up many possibilities for helping people see the truth about Jesus Christ and God that even the biggest non-believer can't deny.
Praise God...I am humbled by your messages. God bless you. You do inspire me and encourage me to go on.
I've been an atheist for over half a century. Watched your video. Totally agree with your jury model. Judgement call.
Your article about reasons to believe in the Christian God caught my eye this morning as I was scrolling through Twitter, and it honestly has changed my entire perspective.
There is only one true God, and I want to worship Him with more than just song and words on a page. Thank you for your inspired words, and keep the faith.
